Employment Type: Part-Time, in office Position – 3 Month Performance Review (2 days/week, ~16 hrs/week) * or additional hours as required The Sales Coordinator is a lead-generation role — a ’door-opener’ responsible for creating sales opportunities for DSBG by reaching out to architecture and interior design firms and key suppliers and or trades, introducing the company, and securing meetings and presentations for The President and or The Sales Team. The role is focused strictly on sales lead generation; it is not a design, project management, estimating, or general coordination role.
Working two days per week from the office, the Sales Coordinator manages daily phone and email outreach, maintains the client and contact database, follows standardized introduction-to-follow-up sales protocol, supports the weekly sales meeting, and prepares client-facing materials including proposals and digital introduction packages and video testimonials and a monthly technical mailer.
There will be a 3 month performance review conducted at that time to assess the candidate’s success in the role. Success in the role is measured primarily by the candidate’s contribution to increased number of prestation appointment booked for The President and or The Sales Team. Number of calls made and documented additional outreach and resources sent i.e digital introduction, emails.
Consistency of follow up and ultimately into the ability to generate opportunities and proposals for bids to projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Outreach & Lead Generation
- Contact Architecture and Interior Design firms by phone and email to introduce confirm the work they do, and check for alignment
- Ask firms about opportunities to bid on, or be interviewed for, their custom-home, renovation and addition projects
- Send digital introductory brochures to firms
- Work to book meetings and presentations for The President and or The Sales Team with Architects and Interior Designers
2. Database & CRM Management
- Build and maintain the client and business development contact database in a CRM software
- Track which architects and designers have been contacted, their status, next follow-up date, and estimated project value
- Follow up on client sales leads
- Keep all records accurate and current
3. Sales Protocol & Follow-Up
- Follow standardized sales protocol from first contact through post-meeting follow-up
- Send an introduction to the firm and the internal team before each presentation
- Support presentations (may or may not attend with The President and or The Sales Team)
- Execute the post-presentation follow-up sequence — client reference lists, then client video testimonials — keeping front of prospects professionally but with a manner of consistency without being perceived as overly aggressive.
4. Sales Meetings & Proposals
- Attend the weekly sales meeting; help review the lead pipeline and update statuses and follow-up dates
- Prepare for the meeting and complete the resulting action items
- Review and prepare proposals once they have been priced
5. Marketing & Client Communication
- Create a draft of technical mailer for review by a Manager for approval which is to be sent monthly to clients, Architects and Interior Designers that showcases technical expertise in custom building

Required Skills & Attributes
- Polished and qualified, able to represent a luxury custom-home builder credibly
- Strong written and verbal communication for professional email and phone outreach
- Comfortable with cold calling and resilient to rejection
- After training, able to speak knowledgeably about scope and technical expertise — project types, square footages, and complex sites (earth shoring, deep foundations, water management)
- Organized and detail-oriented across the database, tracking, proposals, and mailers
- Comfortable using CRM / database software, or a quick learner willing to be trained
- Strong understanding of computer software and systems with a strong focus on using AI powered software
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Interest in or exposure to architecture, design, or construction is an asset
Pay: From $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
