Role Overview

We are building a reliable, high-performance snow and ice management team delivering consistent, high-quality service across commercial properties. As a Snow Plow and/or Salt Truck Driver/Operator, you will clear and treat an assigned route from start to finish, reporting to an account manager and accountable for the upkeep of your assigned vehicle. We are hiring experienced drivers who are dependable, hardworking, and thrive in a quick-paced outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete an assigned route with an expected round time of 8–10 hours.
- Coordinate with the team so plowing and salt application times are well sequenced across sites.
- Respond when snow is forecasted, including overnight, weekends, and holidays, and pre-salt routes ahead of forecasted freezing rain.
- Track labour and material usage in the Viaesys software (training provided).
- Check and test all equipment before each outing.
- Maintain your assigned vehicle in clean, working condition after every outing.
- Report any damage to the account manager immediately.
- Communicate route progress, delays, and maintenance issues promptly to your account manager.

Mandatory Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience in winter operations, snow plowing, or salting.




- Valid 'G' driver's licence or higher with a clean abstract, and reliable transportation to and from the contract site.
- 24/7 on-call availability throughout the season, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.

What We Provide

- All equipment, tools, training, and detailed site maps.
- Uniforms (winter boots and jacket not included).
- A paid orientation and training period.

Compensation

- $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience
- Pay structure: Standby Pay + Hourly, Flat Rate option available

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
