Join a Smart Cities and Emerging Technologies team working at the intersection of technology, experimentation, and public service. This role supports strategic foresight, horizon scanning, technology assessment, and enterprise architecture initiatives focused on emerging technologies including XR, robotics, quantum, digital fabrication, and next generation broadcasting. The position contributes to executive-ready recommendations, innovation roadmap inputs, and technology assessments that support modernization initiatives and city service improvements.

Must Haves

- 10+ years in an Enterprise Architecture role supporting business technology strategy and strategic roadmaps
- 8+ years in a Solution Architecture role applying architecture principles to architecture decisions
- 10+ years across Business Architecture, Information Architecture, or Application Architecture domains
- 5+ years using TOGAF or ArchiMate enterprise architecture frameworks and metamodels
- 10+ years creating enterprise architecture models, written documentation, presentations, business capability models, and technology roadmaps

Nice to Have

- Technology Architecture and/or Security Architecture domain experience
- Experience using the ArchiMate language
- Experience articulating difficult architecture decisions with diverse Business and IT audiences

Responsibilities





- Create frameworks and roadmaps for strategic foresight, horizon scanning, and assessment
- Develop technology assessments, research briefs, and city-comparative analysis
- Produce opportunity analysis and strategic recommendations for emerging technologies
- Prepare innovation roadmap inputs and executive-ready foresight reports
- Support investment and planning decisions through architecture analysis and recommendations
- Facilitate business strategy and roadmap development workshops
- Identify opportunities, perform alternatives analysis, and develop recommendations for future state capabilities
