Senior Financial Analyst

Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

$85K - $95K plus bonus and benefits

Our client, a well-established publicly-listed company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its corporate team. This role supports the financial reporting and planning functions for a growing North American portfolio.

Responsibilities:

- Review monthly financial packages from third-party operators, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support investment onboarding and offboarding, including coordination with property managers and review of entity structures, closing statements, and related financial documentation.
- Lead process improvements related to intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial deliverables, including IFRS reporting packages, investment performance updates, and lender/co-investor reports.
- Manage internal controls and compliance activities, including SOX testing and external audits.
- Consolidate and analyze quarterly income statement reforecasts and contribute to annual budgeting and planning.




- Monitor liquidity and capital requirements, collaborating closely with portfolio management and capital markets teams.
- Support financing and refinancing initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Contribute to FP&A; and various cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications:

- 3 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, ideally with a blend of public accounting and industry experience.
- Robust knowledge of IFRS accounting and financial consolidation.
- Exposure to real estate or asset management is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- CPA, CA (or equivalent) designation required.
