Responsibilities

Other key responsibilities of the position include:

- Providing academic leadership and managing program administration, including planning, coordination, evaluation, and reporting.
- Leading curriculum development and maintaining course materials, hardware, and software to ensure content reflects current technology and industry standards.
- Delivering classroom, lab, and workshop instruction, supporting students through tutoring and counselling, and ensuring fair, consistent evaluation practices.
- Coordinating student practicum placements, liaising with employers, monitoring on-the-job learning, and evaluating student competency development.
- Supporting student recruitment and maintaining program records, including attendance, progress reports, and annual program reports.

Qualifications

The knowledge, skills,



and abilities required for this job are usually obtained through the completion of a diploma in Computer Science, Systems or Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and three (3) years’ working experience in an IT role with progressive experience, certifications and hands-on working knowledge of IT systems and networking. In addition, two (2) academic years of teaching, instruction or training experience, preferably in a cross-cultural workplace as well as one (1) year of related supervisory experience. Short-listed candidates may undergo a vulnerable sector check as necessitated by the demographics of the learners participating in the program.
