Role: Technical Writer / Process Analyst

Location: Scarborough, ON

Bill Rate: $50-55/hr

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer / Process Analyst to support the design, documentation, implementation, and ongoing operation of a new enterprise platform supporting Service Transition .

The successful candidate will work closely with technology, operations, governance, engineering, development, operational readiness, and support teams to translate complex technical and operational processes into explicit, practical, and user-friendly documentation.

This role combines technical writing, business/process analysis, stakeholder engagement, knowledge management, and operational readiness .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop end-to-end process documentation for a new enterprise application/platform.
- Translate complex processes into clear user guides, SOPs, training materials, knowledge articles, and job aids .
- Create process maps, workflows, diagrams, and Visio documentation to support application and process lifecycles.
- Build and maintain knowledge-base content that enables users to self-serve and navigate processes independently.
- Collaborate with SMEs,



technology, operations, governance, and support teams to gather and validate information.
- Support training, implementation, adoption, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness activities.
- Document requirements, business rules, procedures, stakeholders, resources, and key process steps.
- Work within Agile/project delivery environments and maintain documentation standards and version control.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing, Process Analysis, Business Analysis, Knowledge Management, or a related field.
- Strong experience creating technical documentation, SOPs, user guides, training materials, and process documentation .
- Proven ability to develop process maps, workflows, diagrams, and Visio documentation .
- Excellent technical writing, communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or similar project environments .
- Experience with Visio and Microsoft 365 ; familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile/project tools
