How you'll make an impact

Builds and maintains relationships with new and existing reinsurance clients, developing strategies and goals for the development and management of these accounts. Understands client's business and their reinsurance needs and applies knowledge of risks and the reinsurance market to find and arrange suitable reinsurance coverage and policies. Acts in the interest of the clients and offer products from more than one reinsurer to secure the optimal reinsurance solution.

Identifies revenue opportunities among new and existing clients by creating demand and awareness of the organization's products. Achieves revenue targets through client retention and increasing new business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Decisions are guided by functional or major operational segment strategies and priorities, Sets, manages,



and executes sub function medium-term strategy; Handles problems that are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis; Accountability of staff results; Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures and communicating with executive leadership; Interfaces with other leaders and stakeholders within, other function Group Managers, and leadership throughout the business; Decisions have a serious impact on the overall success or failure on area of accountability; Interacts with executive leadership and others concerning matters of importance for responsible area.
- Establishes key elements of long-term function strategy and short-medium term tactical and operational plans with measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the Division.
- Develops new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the organization's functional strategy.
- May have budget or P&L; accountability for area of responsibility, or manage elements of the budget. Responsible for improving upon existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation.

About you

Required:

- Requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
