Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Manufacturer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and assembling high-quality signs that meet client specifications and industry standards. You will utilize a variety of advanced manufacturing equipment and tools to produce durable, visually appealing signage for a diverse range of projects.

Your expertise in mechanical knowledge, blueprint reading, and precision machining will ensure every sign is crafted with excellence and accuracy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative signage solutions while honing your technical skills in a quick-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and fabrication processes.
- Operate Channel letter Bender, saws, power tools, vinyl layup tools, and many other machines to produce high quality signage.
- Perform welding and mechanical assembly tasks to join metal frames and components securely (is a benefit but not necessary).
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to verify adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including logs of materials used and completed work orders.




- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machinery issues and optimize manufacturing workflows for efficiency and quality.

Experience

- Proven experience in manufacturing or sign fabrication and ability to learn and use hand and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with welding techniques such as MIG or TIG welding preferred is a plus but not mandatory!
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively and perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations.
- Knowledge of quality inspection procedures to ensure finished products meet high standards of craftsmanship.
- Prior experience working with cranes, forklifts, or other heavy machinery is a plus but not mandatory; certification is advantageous.
