Job Summary

Working closely with the Social Media & Communication Specialist, the Social Media Volunteer will support the development and delivery of Port Cares’ social media and email communications. This role will assist with content creation, social media campaigns, newsletter development, performance tracking, trend research, and the organization of social media content calendars and digital assets, helping to strengthen awareness of Port Cares’ charitable programs, services, and community impact.

DUTIES AND RESPONSILIBITES

Duties

- Assist with the development and implementation of social media and email newsletter strategies.
- Assist in content creation, including writing copy, sourcing images/videos, and basic graphic design.
- Support social media campaigns and promotions.
- Track and report on social media performance metrics.
- Conduct research on social media trends, industry organizations’ activities, and audience behaviours.
- Maintain social media content calendars and asset libraries.

Pay: Up to $1.00 per hour
