Skilled Tradesperson / Construction Operations Lead

Class 3 Driver’s License REQUIRED

Full-Time | Construction | Foundation & Screw Piles

Overview

You MUST hold a valid Class 3 driver’s license.

Air endorsement is not required at this time (company will pay if needed).

This is a right-hand-man / operations lead position. Once trained, you will take responsibility for day-to-day ground operations.

You are a no-BS worker who shows up to work to get things done. You see problems, make decisions, and figure it out without babysitting.

Some days are brutally hard physical work.

Other days we sit on a lakeshore and drink lemonade.

Read that again.

Some days we BBQ and clean the shop. Other days we lift buildings and hustle like ants. You know how to take the positive with the not-so-great. You’re comfortable in a lead or management-style role, and herding cats doesn’t bother you.

Do NOT Apply If:

- You do not have a Class 3 driver’s license
- You do not hold a valid Class 3 driver’s license
- You are not capable of hard physical construction work

(Yes — the Class 3 requirement is repeated intentionally.)

Key Responsibilities

- Install screw piles / helical piles
- Perform foundation repair and foundation coatings
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely
- General construction labour: site prep, hand digging, material handling
- Repair and service equipment (mechanical / wrench-pulling skills are a strong asset)
- Assist with structural installs and building lifts
- Maintain job-site cleanliness and organization




- Follow all construction safety procedures
- Communicate equipment issues or safety hazards
- Work closely with the team to complete projects on schedule

Required Qualifications

- VALID Class 3 driver’s license (or higher) — REQUIRED
- Construction, skilled trades, or heavy labour experience — mandatory
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
- Familiarity with construction safety standards

Preferred Experience (Assets)

- Framing and carpentry
- Deck building
- Welding experience
- Mechanical equipment service
- Foundation or pile installation experience
