Looking for full-time winter work close to home? Green Bay Infrastructure Group Inc. is hiring an experienced Snow Clearing Operator. All snow clearing contracts are located in Springdale and the immediate area.

This is a full-time seasonal position, with the potential for ongoing, year-round employment for the right candidate.

About the work

You will operate a front-end loader equipped with a snow blade. At times, you will also operate a truck equipped with a snow blade, sander, and salter.

Snow clearing will begin with the first snowfall. Preparation will take place beforehand so you can get familiar with the equipment and review routes with your supervisor.

Responsibilities

- Clear snow and apply sand or salt as required.
- Complete daily circle checks and safety checks before operating equipment.




- Report equipment defects or safety concerns promptly to your supervisor and the in-house mechanic.
- Follow assigned routes, site instructions, and safe work procedures.
- Work safely around pedestrians, vehicles, buildings, and other obstacles.

Mechanical servicing and repairs are handled by our in-house mechanic.

What you’ll need

- Previous snow clearing experience with both a front-end loader and a truck equipped with a snow blade, sander, and salter.
- Valid, current Class 1 and Class 8 licences.
- A clean driver’s abstract.
- Ability to complete equipment safety checks and identify concerns before operation.
- Dependability, good judgement, and a strong focus on safety.
- Availability to work as snow and weather conditions require, including early mornings, nights, and weekends when needed.

Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
