Job Summary

As a Distro Associate, you will:

- Receive food, beverage, paper products, equipment, and other deliveries while verifying quantities and condition of goods
- Assist with unloading deliveries and safely move products into designated storage areas
- Transport food, beverage, supplies, equipment, and other materials throughout the Auditorium as required
- Stock kitchens, concessions, suites, bars, storage rooms, and other operational areas before and during events
- Ensure products are stored properly and organized for easy access
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving and storage areas
- Rotate inventory and follow proper food storage and handling practices
- Assist with inventory counts, product organization, and restocking as assigned
- Safely operate carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment used to transport products throughout the facility
- Move heavy boxes, cases, kegs, equipment, and other supplies throughout the building
- Support event operations by responding quickly to requests from managers, supervisors, culinary teams, concessions, suites,



and other departments
- Replenish products and supplies during events to ensure service areas remain fully stocked
- Assist with setup, teardown, event conversions, and moving tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies as required
- Help resolve unexpected operational needs, spills, shortages, equipment moves, and other issues that arise during events
- Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping of receiving, storage, and operational areas
- Follow all food safety, workplace health and safety, WHMIS, and company policies and procedures
- Maintain a qualified and helpful attitude when working with team members, vendors, contractors, and guests
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

About you:

- Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, receiving, food service, hospitality, or event operations is an asset
- Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a busy environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to changing operational needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move heavy products and equipment
- Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during high-volume events as required
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
