Job Summary

Join our team as a Small Engine Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines used in a wide range of outdoor power equipment.

Duties

- Diagnose issues with small engines and related equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs and maintenance on Zero Turns, Snowblowers, lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other outdoor power equipment
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical testing devices to complete repairs
- Conduct heavy lifting of equipment parts and machinery safely and efficiently
- Follow detailed repair procedures and safety protocols to ensure quality workmanship
- Assist customers with loading and unloading of equipment, providing excellent customer service and product advice
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, billing of parts used, and diagnostic findings

Skills





- Strong mechanical knowledge of small engines and outdoor power equipment
- Experience with welding and electrical systems troubleshooting
- Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with automotive repair techniques and automotive electrical systems is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and effectively
- Knowledge of Scag, Toro, Stihl and Walker is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to lift heavy equipment parts repeatedly while maintaining safety standards
- Ability to use a computer to track time and bill parts to work orders

Pay is 23$-30$ Depending on knowledge in the trade. 3 months probationary period.

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
