SALARY: $20.72/h

SCHEDULE: Variable according to service needs: up to a maximum of 40 hours per week, with no guarantee of minimum hours. You must be available according to the following schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift: 6:45 AM to 3:45 PM or evening shift 5 PM to midnight.

WORK MODE: In-person

WORK LOCATION: Guimond Arena: 4355 Autoroute 440, Laval, H7P 4W6 (limited public transport)

The challenges that await you The Public Works Department of the City of Laval is responsible for maintaining public roads, sewer and aqueduct networks throughout Laval, including snow removal operations, management and repair of vehicles and equipment, as well as maintenance of parks and green spaces to provide a quality living environment for all citizens.

According to specific instructions, you will be called to:

- Patrol the city neighborhoods by car to assist your daily colleagues in their snow removal operations by reminding Laval residents of the regulations in force and raising awareness of good practices related to winter parking;
- Issue tickets for violations of winter parking regulations;
- Compile related data.

- Hold a secondary school diploma;
- Possess a valid class 5 driver's license;
- Experience in customer service;
- Master the French language (oral and written).
