This role is essential during the winter months, focusing on snow removal to ensure safe and accessible pathways for residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities

- Clear snow from driveways, sidewalks, and other designated areas using shovels and snow blowers.
- Operate hand tools and power tools effectively for efficient snow removal.
- Maintain equipment used for snow removal, ensuring it is in good working condition. .
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks in a timely manner while adhering to safety protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to supervisors.

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge to understand and operate various tools and machinery effectively.
- Familiarity with snow blowing techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and excavators for various tasks.
- Knowledge of horticulture practices including irrigation systems and tree care.




- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

- Physical ability to work outdoors for extended periods in cold and snowy conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from dispatch or assigned routes.
- Availability for on-call shifts (including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays).
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to work in coordination with tractor and plow operators.
- Must dress appropriately for weather conditions (PPE provided where applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in snow removal or outdoor labour.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (an asset).
- Understanding of secure work practices for winter conditions.
- MUST have valid G licence.

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Pay: From $550.00 per week
