& Requirements

Brandon School Division is currently accepting applications for Spare (on call) Bus Drivers for the 2026/27 school year.

What we offer:

- Willing to train suitable candidates with clean driving abstracts.
- Paid training upon completion of certification.
- Competitive pay rates.

Required Qualifications:

- Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Class 2 Driver's Licence, or willingness to obtain.
- School Bus Operator's Certificate, with Defensive Driving training, or willingness to obtain.
- WHMIS training/certification.
- Demonstrated ability to follow standardized work methods and processes.
- Ability to interact with service dogs while transporting students, if required.
- Demonstrated time management and computer/word processing skills.
- Effective basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
- Effective moderate interpersonal and communication skills.
