AyA Kitchens is seeking an SQL Developer who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases, reports, dashboards, and related business solutions. This role works closely with .NET Developers and internal users to support data needs, improve reporting capabilities, and ensure database solutions are accurate, efficient, and aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Create, maintain, and enhance parameterized scheduled and manual reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Develop SQL Server objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot queries and data flows to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
- Create and support SQL Server automations to improve business processes and reporting efficiency.
- Develop reports and dashboards in Power BI to support operational and business decision-making.
- Collaborate with .NET Developers and internal users to gather requirements and provide the necessary database objects, reports, and data solutions.

Education/ Experience:

- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with SQL Server and reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft development tools and SQL Server environments.
- Strong SQL skills, including query writing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.




- Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
- Ability to consistently follow company-prescribed processes and industry best practices for database design and development.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and approach projects in a logical, systematic manner to ensure solutions are complete, accurate, and integrate effectively with existing systems.
- Robust verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to organize work and prioritize multiple projects.
- Complete understanding of programming tools and database development concepts.
- Decisive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Motivated and committed to continuous learning, including staying current with software updates, emerging programming techniques, and evolving business needs.
- Able to work in Canada

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
