Requirements

- Valid Journeyperson Welder Certificate.

- Valid B-Pressure certification.

- Current P8-P8 GMAW/SMAW F6/F5 welding qualification.

- Strong GMAW stainless steel pipe welding experience, including open-root welding.

- GTAW/TIG stainless steel pipe welding experience considered a strong asset.

- Valid CSTS, First Aid and H2S Alive.

- Ability to read and interpret piping isometrics and fabrication drawings.

- Strong communication skills and a safety-focused attitude.

- Work will be primarily in a dedicated stainless steel pipe fabrication shop.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret piping isometrics, drawings and welding procedures.

- Fit, prep, tack and weld stainless steel piping spools.

- Perform GMAW root welding and SMAW fill/cap welding in accordance with approved welding procedures.





- Perform GTAW welding where required by the applicable procedure.

- Maintain proper stainless steel cleanliness and material handling practices.

- Complete required quality and safety documentation.

- Work with fabrication and QC personnel to ensure completed work meets project requirements.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.
