Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Store Manager to lead our Fairfield location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, training, and developing staff to achieve operational excellence. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a well-organized environment.

Starting salary is $49,920 plus an average of six to nine dollars more an hour in tips (approx. 13,00 extra/yr). After 3 months, full benefits including dental.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise store operations to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of customer service.
- Recruit, interview, and train new staff members while fostering a positive team environment.
- Manage inventory levels, including buying decisions and cash handling procedures to optimize profitability.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Scheduling to meet labour costs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized store layout.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance the shopping experience.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates,



and performance feedback.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in store management or a similar role within the food industry.
- Barista or Cafe experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent recruiting skills with experience in interviewing candidates for various positions.
- Demonstrated ability to train and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
- Proficient in cash handling processes and financial reporting.
- Strong sales acumen with a focus on achieving results through effective leadership.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
