What will your day-to-day look like?

- Supervise daily operations related to the manufacturing of multiple families of aeronautical parts

- Address the prevention of health and safety incidents by actively promoting good practices and appropriate behaviours

- Ensure the achievement of key performance indicators (EHS, quality, delivery, performance, costs) and apply appropriate measures and solutions

- Communicate with production teams and support functions such as manufacturing engineering, programming, logistics, maintenance, project management, etc.

- Hire, monitor training of employees and support team leaders

- Actively participate in initiatives aimed at reducing non-quality and increasing efficiency

- Facilitate change management and promote employee engagement

What do you need to be successful?

- College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, including a minimum of 3+ years of supervisory experience

- French (fluent), English (functional)

- Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts (5S, Lean Manufacturing, tier meetings, Gemba walks, visual management, etc.)

- Knowledge of manufacturing, programming, and machining methods





- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

- Comfortable working in an setting with competing priorities and tight deadlines

- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Ability to understand various production challenges and anticipate potential issues

- Team player with strong autonomy and ethical judgment

- Knowledge of logistics, planning tools, and production monitoring is an asset

- Good knowledge of ERP/MRP software such as SAP and ITDM is an asset

- Knowledge of quality criteria and inspection processes is an asset
