Job Title: Sushi Maker / Chef Assistant (Part-Time)

About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, reliable team member to join our sushi counter inside a large supermarket in Cochrane. You'll work alongside our main chef, preparing fresh sushi for our customers every day.

No experience? No problem! We provide thorough, step-by-step training from the basics, so beginners are welcome to apply. The work is straightforward and easy to learn. Experienced sushi makers are, of course, also very welcome.

Responsibilities

- Assist the main chef with daily sushi preparation
- Prepare ingredients such as rice, vegetables, and fish
- Roll, package, and label sushi products
- Keep the work area clean and organized, following food safety standards

Schedule





- 2–5 days per week
- Starts between 7–9 AM and ends between 1–3 PM
- Days and hours are flexible and can be discussed

What We're Looking For

- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Willingness to learn and a positive attitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work efficiently in a team
- Availability to start early and open the store (around 7 AM)
- Previous kitchen or sushi experience is an asset but not required
