Assumption School is seeking a teacher (0.8 FTE – 4 days/week) for the a maternity leave until September 2027.
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Have a current pastoral reference that they are active in a Catholic parish, or demonstrate that they are willing to be respectful of the Catholic faith
- Have a certificate of qualification issued by the BC Ministry of Education
- Are committed to excellence in Catholic education
- Have experience differentiating instruction and working with students with a variety needs
- Demonstrate a positive and caring approach to students
- Show exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork abilities
- Demonstrate a willingness to provide extra-curricular opportunities for students

- The successful applicant will work collaboratively with other staff members as well as have experience working with a diverse range of learners and have a passion for teaching.
