Hours & Compensation

- Part-Time
- October 2026 – May 2027 (Tuesdays – once a month)
- $28.00 – $37.00/hour based on experience

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Related certification or degree from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Experience: Previous adult teaching experience, specifically working with Deaf adults and literacy learners
- Knowledge: about technology, Adult Learning Principles, and Skills for Success application in literacy development
- Technical & Delivery Skills: can tech classes either online or in person
- Communication: Fluent in ASL, written English and general communication skills, especially in diverse, multi-ability environments
- Interpersonal: Solid patience, understanding, and ability to work respectfully with individuals from various cultural backgrounds and abilities
