A part-time (0.5 FTE) temporary teacher (afternoons) is required at Medicine Hat High School to serve as an English teacher. The ideal candidate would be an English major/minor with experience teaching High School English and/or EAL. This educational team member should have an adaptive style that can create an inspirational, creative, and inclusive classroom climate, as well as maintain a strong focus on all elements of the Optimal Learning Setting.
This individual must value student learning and achievement and agree with the mission, vision, values and goals of the school and the school district. A commitment to extracurricular activities would also be an asset.
