Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Food Service Supervisor to lead our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The Supervisor will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining food safety and quality standards, supporting team members, and ensuring efficient operations during busy periods. This position requires strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Supervise, support, and motivate team members to ensure high standards of guest service and operational performance.
- Lead daily shift operations, including assigning tasks, monitoring workflow, and ensuring adequate team coverage.
- Provide friendly and professional guest service while addressing customer questions, concerns, and complaints effectively.
- Train and coach team members on food preparation, service procedures, workplace policies, and food safety standards.
- Ensure food and beverages are prepared and served according to established recipes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of food preparation, service, and dining areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies, including proper food handling, storage, temperature control, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, receiving supplies, rotating products, and identifying replenishment needs.
- Support ordering and inventory control to minimize waste and maintain appropriate product availability.
- Monitor cash handling and ensure transactions, cash counts, and register procedures are completed accurately.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, cleaning, restocking, and securing the workplace.
- Encourage effective upselling and promotional strategies to improve guest satisfaction and support sales goals.
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback, coaching,



and recognition when appropriate.
- Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate significant concerns to management when necessary.
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and positive communication among staff.
- Manage time and prioritize responsibilities effectively to maintain productive operations throughout each shift.
- Lead by example by demonstrating reliability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service.
- Assist management with maintaining company standards and achieving operational, service, and sales objectives.

- Strong leadership and team-management skills with the ability to motivate and support employees.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and safe food-handling procedures.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Basic math skills with experience handling cash transactions and inventory counts.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to train, coach, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective under pressure.
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or a supervisory role is preferred.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, take initiative, and contribute to a team-oriented workplace.
- Adaptable availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Leadership Focus As a Supervisor, you will serve as a key point of contact between management, team members, and guests. You will be responsible for maintaining operational standards, supporting employee performance, resolving issues, and ensuring every shift runs efficiently while delivering a positive guest experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
