SAF-HOLLAND Canada Limited is a leading international manufacturer and supplier of premium product systems and components for the global commercial vehicle industry. The product range includes axle and suspension systems, fifth wheels, couplers, kingpins, landing gear legs, air brake adjusters, valves, ABS, actuators and trailer CPU’s.

We are seeking to fill a current vacancy for the following full-time hourly position at our Woodstock facility:

Tool and Die Maker - Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday)

Starting Wage: $44.34/hour to start (inclusive of COLA, subject to adjustment)

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, component prints, assembly part/product drawing
- Set up, operate, adjust, repair and maintain tool room equipment
- General maintenance on jigs and fixtures
- Troubleshooting to produce quality parts by assessing new tooling and broken tooling
- Design current tools to replace broken/worn out tools through machining, heat treating, finish grinding and trial fitting
- Machine and fabricate parts for other departments
- All other relevant duties

Key Requirements

- Grade 12 Diploma
- Recognized Tool & Die License
- 2 - 5 years' related experience in manufacturing
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
