Curry Towing & Recovery is looking for a Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, clean drivers abstract, and the ability remain professional at all times. Experience in the towing and/or trucking industry would be considered an asset but is not required. Applicants must hold a minimum of a Class 3 or Class 5 drivers license, with Air Brake Endorsement.

Our shop is located north of Grande Prairie on Emerson Trail, so a reliable means of transportation is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Arriving on scene quick and promptly
- Making sure the truck is in positive working condition and clean inside and out
- Quality customer service by communicating with customers in a professional manner
- Full knowledge of truck specs and capabilities
- Communicating with dispatch constantly over phone/text
- Following all safety regulations
- Keeping up to date with all rate schedules
- Following all company policies
- Diligently and neatly filling out invoices




- Driving with care and following the rules of the road
- General knowledge of Grande Prairie and area
- Ability to lift 30 to 60 lbs

Requirements:

- Previous experience running a tilt deck or tow truck is an asset
- Willing to be on call and work flexible hours
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good communication and hand written skills; attention to detail in regards to paperwork and documentation
- Adaptable and can work well with others and in all weather conditions
- Safety conscious
- Professional, reliable and timely
- Customer Service experience
- Clean drivers abstract and criminal record check
- Holds a valid Class 3 or Class 5 drivers license with air brake endorsement

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
