Trailer Technician (Entry-Level or Apprentice)

We currently have a full-time position available for a Trailer Technician (Entry-Level or Apprentice) at our Dartmouth, NS location.

Whether you are a fresh high school graduate, an apprentice, a career changer, or someone tired of job-hopping and ready for a stable home, we want to meet you. No prior trailer experience? No problem. If you have strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn, we will provide the in-house training and mentorship to help you grow.

This is a hands-on role in a busy heavy-duty environment, requiring a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

- Learn and perform the repair, maintenance, and inspection of commercial trailers.
- Assist with trailer brakes, body, bearings, suspension, electrical, and air systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults with team support.




- Complete work orders accurately and maintain a clean, safe shop environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

- Strong mechanical aptitude is a must (hobbyist, automotive tinkering, or farming background counts!).
- No formal experience required; we provide in-house, on-the-job training.
- Open to fresh graduates, current apprentices, and career changers.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous learning.

Schedule:

Day shift

Monday to Friday
