Overview:

Rockdoc is seeking qualified nurse practitioners licensed in Quebec to join its Travel Medicine Team, providing virtual consultations to clients to help ensure their health and safety while traveling.

Responsibilities:

- Provide travel medicine expertise and recommendations to clients via telehealth based on their destination, planned activities, personal medical history, and other factors.
- Review client intake forms in a timely manner and perform research as necessary to create customized travel health recommendations
- Provide a high level of service to clients including post-consultation communications and coordination.
- Coordinate with pharmacies as required to facilitate client care post-consultation.
- In the discharge of all duties take steps to ensure appropriate client privacy in keeping with PIPEDA and other regulations

Requirements:

- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Currently licensed and in good standing with respective College
- Previous travel medicine experience an asset
- Active nursing license in additional province(s) an asset
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, and families,



and other healthcare team members.
- Ability to adapt quickly to recent environments and work collaboratively within diverse teams.
- Ability to work with online technology and various platforms.
- A commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
