POSITION: Tutors in the Classroom (Math Focus)

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday – During school hours (Schedule of hours to be arranged with successful applicants)

RATE OF PAY: $22.00 / hour

DUTIES:

Reporting to the principal, the tutor in the classroom will be responsible for the following duties:

- Support the work of teachers in elementary classrooms to allow for tier three mathematics interventions
- Work with small groups of students to reinforce numeracy skills
- Support students with digital tools being used in the class to support math instruction
- Support students with assigned math work,



problems and “extra help sessions”
- Supporting students as otherwise directed by the Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Completed or enrolled in a post-secondary program at a College or University
