Duties
- Safely operate a commercial van to deliver goods and packages to designated locations
- Load and unload items with proper heavy lifting techniques to prevent injury
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and route logs
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details or address issues
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transit
- Provide friendly,
professional customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with delivery needs
Requirements
- Valid Drivers license G or above appropriate driving certification for van operation
- Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery services
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic laws, and safety regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism
