Breadner Veterinary Services is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our innovative and dynamic team.

Our ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills, who is detail oriented and thrives in a fast-paced workplace while connecting with our team and clients through their love of pets. You will be scheduled for an average of 36 hours per week, which includes weekdays and Saturdays.

Job Duties:

Technical Applications & Role Awareness

· Greets, handles, and treats pets with kindness, compassion, patience, and skill using Fear Free techniques.

· Efficiently, accurately, and safely performs animal handling and husbandry duties. Ensures hospitalized patients are comfortable, clean, exercised, and fed according to instructions.

· Provides direct assistance to Technicians and general assistance throughout hospital with appointments, treatments, procedures, and surgeries.

· Understands and follows best medicine, hospital initiatives, SOPs, and programs.

· Acts as the liaison between clients and medical team and relays all necessary information timely and correctly. Identifies and addresses any issues.

· Correctly enters client and patient information into PMS and confirms it’s up to date at every visit.

· Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment,



and maintain cleanliness to uphold the highest standards of hygiene

Qualifications:

§ Experience in the Veterinary industry preferred

§ Strong communication and interpersonal skills required

§ Multi-tasking and organizational skills

§ Problem solving skills with the ability to adapt, be creative, and offer quick and effective solutions

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
