Qualifications:
- RCM Level 10 or higher in the respective instrument
- Minimum of one years of teaching experience
- Bachelor's degree in music or a related field (preferred)
- Ability to effectively engage with students aged 4 and above
- Passionate about teaching, patient, and responsible
- Able to commit to in-person teaching in Markham for at least the next 12 months
Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized lesson plans that inspire and engage students
- Provide structured guidance and motivation for student progress
- Prepare and guide students for RCM examinations, competitions, recitals, and other studio performances, according to their individual goals and levels
- Offer feedback to parents after lessons to support students’ growth
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and reliability in all lessons
Hourly Rate: $25 – $40 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience). Adaptable schedule (Weekday evenings, weekends)
