Warehouse Associate — Distribution Technologies Inc. (Immediate Opening)

Location: Milverton, ON

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent — Immediate Opening

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (includes a half-hour unpaid lunch)

Pay: $21.00/hour to start, with performance-based increases, plus participation in our yearly bonus program

About the Role

We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. As our team grows, you'll handle shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties, with occasional office support — and you'll be cross-trained across our warehouse functions so you can pitch in wherever the day's workload needs it most. This is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable on their feet, and able to juggle a few different tasks throughout the day.

Because our team works closely together and reliable daily attendance is important to us, candidates who live within a reasonable commuting distance of Milverton, ON and have dependable transportation are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Pick and package orders according to customer specifications
- Prepare product for shipping, including banding and stretch wrapping
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring material is loaded safely with proper identification tags
- Properly identify and handle all incoming and outgoing inventory
- Monitor inventory levels for safe storage




- Count and sort product; perform data entry
- Sign for parcels
- Answer customer questions by phone with good telephone technique
- Perform basic tool repair (training provided)
- Occasionally open and close the office
- Follow all quality and safety policies and procedures
- Always keep the work environment safe and clean
- Other duties as assigned (warehouse and office)

Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or similar experience is an asset but not required
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, standing, and repetitive tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation to our Milverton, ON location required

What We Offer
- $21.00/hour to start, with performance-based wage increases
- Yearly bonus program (prorated based on start date)
- 2 weeks (10 days) vacation per year, with 4% vacation pay paid bi-weekly along with wages
