Role Overview The Welder/Fitter is responsible for fitting, welding, and assembling structural steel components, pressure vessels, and piping systems. This role requires strong technical ability, precision, and the capacity to interpret and work from detailed blueprints.

Required Experience & Skills

- 5–8 years of welding and fitting experience
- Ability to read blueprints accurately
- Robust measurement and layout skills
- Proficiency in structural steel and pressure vessel welding
- Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Comfortable working in industrial environments
- Standing, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods





Preferred Qualifications

- CWB or equivalent welding certifications
- Experience with fabrication shop equipment (presses, rollers, cutting tools)
- Familiarity with safety standards for pressure vessels and piping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
