Role Overview

We are building a reliable, high-performance snow and ice management team serving commercial properties across the GTA. As a Wheel Loader Operator, you will execute an assigned snow clearing route from start to finish, reporting to an account manager and accountable for the upkeep of your machine. We are hiring experienced operators who are dependable, hardworking, and thrive in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a front wheel loader with a large hydraulic plow.
- Complete an assigned route with an expected round time of 8–10 hours.
- Perform shovelling and hand salting at entrances and small walkways as required.
- Coordinate with the team so plowing and salt application times are well sequenced across sites.
- Respond when snow is forecasted, including weekends and holidays, and pre-salt routes ahead of forecasted freezing rain.
- Track labour and salt usage in the Viaesys software (training provided).
- Check and test all equipment before each outing.
- Complete machine maintenance after every outing — pressure washing the exterior, maintaining the interior, and greasing equipment as needed.
- Report any damage to the account manager immediately.
- Manage your time to meet all clearing and salting deadlines, and flag any extenuating circumstances to the account manager promptly.

Mandatory Requirements





- Minimum 3 years of experience operating a loader at a high level in snow plowing applications.
- Valid 'G' driver's licence or higher with a clean abstract, and reliable transportation to and from the contract site.
- 24/7 on-call availability throughout the season, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.

- Uniforms (winter boots and jacket not included).
- A paid orientation and training period.

Compensation

- $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience
- Pay structure: Standby Pay + Hourly, Flat Rate option available
