We are seeking an experienced Residential Foreman to lead and oversee concrete forming operations for custom residential homes while supporting the successful execution of multiple active construction sites. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can confidently supervise crews, interpret construction drawings, coordinate daily site activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.The ideal candidate has extensive experience in residential concrete forming, understands the full construction process from foundation through framing, and takes pride in leading by example.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Leadership

- Lead and supervise daily concrete forming operations for residential foundations, footings, walls, and slabs.
- Coordinate daily activities of labourers, carpenters, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
- Plan and organize work to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Conduct daily site meetings to communicate priorities, safety requirements, and project expectations.
- Promote a productive, professional, and safety-focused work environment.

Concrete Forming

- Read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Lay out and oversee the construction of residential footings, foundation walls, slabs, and related concrete work.
- Ensure all forming, reinforcing, elevations, and dimensions meet design specifications.
- Coordinate concrete pours, inspections, and quality control throughout each stage.
- Troubleshoot field issues and implement practical solutions to maintain project timelines.

Project Coordination

- Work closely with the Project Manager,



Site Superintendent, and Lead Contractor to coordinate project activities.
- Schedule materials, equipment, and deliveries to support ongoing work.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure work complies with building codes and engineering requirements.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates, delays, or challenges promptly.
- Maintain accurate daily site reports and documentation.

Quality & Safety

- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
- Enforce workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct routine site inspections to identify and address safety hazards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient job sites.
- Assist with project deficiencies and site close-out activities.

QualificationsRequired

- 5+ years of experience in residential concrete forming and foundation construction.
- Previous experience leading construction crews as a Foreman or Lead Hand.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Thorough understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.




- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Preferred

- Experience working on custom residential homes.
- Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code.
- Working at Heights certification.
- WHMIS certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Experience operating construction equipment (telehandler, skid steer, excavator, etc.) is considered an asset.
