General Manager – Green Box

Green Box is a high-end quick-service restaurant concept with multiple locations in downtown Toronto. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and hands-on General Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

Responsibilities – A to Z

- Oversee all restaurant operations, including Front of House, Back of House, kitchen, coffee/barista, salad bar, grab-and-go and catering
- Lead, train, schedule and motivate staff and management teams
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, service and presentation
- Monitor sales, labour, food costs, inventory and waste
- Ensure proper opening, closing and daily operating procedures
- Manage ordering, receiving, inventory and supplier relationships
- Ensure all food safety, health & safety and company policies are followed
- Handle customer concerns and ensure excellent customer service
- Monitor staff performance and hold team members accountable
- Improve sales and overall restaurant profitability
- Coordinate with ownership on operations, staffing and business development




- Be a strong leader who is present on the floor and leads by example

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably as a GM or senior manager
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities
- Strong understanding of restaurant costs, labour and inventory
- Hands-on, energetic and accountable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends when required
