As a sales team leader, you are a strategist, coach, and business developer all in one. By leading your team while managing your own territory, you create new growth opportunities, strengthen our distribution network, and turn market needs into tangible results for our customers, partners, and Soucy.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Translate annual sales and after-sales objectives into action plans by territory, channel, account, and individual
Actively manage a sales territory and a portfolio of assigned clients, including prospecting, account development, client visits, pipeline management, forecasting, negotiations, and achieving the territory’s revenue and margin targets
Lead regular reviews of the pipeline, forecasts, opportunities, inventory, and accounts; identify variances and corrective actions
Support the team in complex negotiations, pricing, promotions, programs, proposals, contracts, and customer situations requiring escalation
Mentor team members through regular one-on-one meetings, joint customer visits, prospect reviews, and development plans

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will thrive in this role:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, economics, finance, or a related field
3 to 7 years of experience in market intelligence, strategic analysis, or business development
Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and analytical tools
Ability to transform data into business recommendations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft 365 applications
Willingness to travel approximately 25 to 35 percent of the time within North America, with occasional travel outside the region as needed by the company
