Job Responsibility:

Summer Student - Office Assistant (in office)

Hours of work: Monday - Friday from 830am-430pm

2 months contract (July- August)

Location: Hamilton

Reporting to: Branch Manager

Wage: $17/hourly

Job Responsibilities :

- Responding to inquiries in person, via telephone, mail, fax, emails to the public, elected representatives and staff;
- Providing information to clients and field staff both over the phone and in person;
- Recording and forwarding information requests to appropriate staff;
- Photocopying and collating information packages for distribution;
- Providing accurate information regarding department services;
- Preparing and processing documents regarding town business and responses to customers;
- Providing administrative support to office department;
- Data entry, filing, and other clerical duties as required;
- Back-up support for telephone switchboard;
- Assisting branch IT in configuring mobile devices.
- Performing other office duties as assigned.
