Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, the Commercial & Projects Counsel role will provide legal support to the Company’s Canadian and international operations, with a primary focus on commercial contracting, procurement, construction and capital projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Company’s mine-site, projects, procurement, engineering, technical and other business teams in connection with the development, construction and operation of the Company’s mines and development projects. review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements supporting the Company’s operating mines, development projects and capital programs, including: equipment, materials and other supply agreements; construction and installation agreements; engineering, procurement, consulting, construction management and other construction related and professional services agreements; maintenance, repair and operational services agreements; master services agreements, purchase agreements and related procurement documentation; and confidentiality and other ancillary commercial agreements. Partner closely with mine-site, projects, procurement, engineering and technical teams to provide practical legal advice in connection with sourcing, procurement and contracting activities. Advise business teams on procurement and contracting strategy, including appropriate contracting models, commercial terms, allocation of risk and contractual protections.
