As part of the Impact Centre team, you will work on a temporary contract of 25-37.5 hours each week. This position requires safe operation of forklifts to load, unload, and transport donated materials. Your role will be pivotal in helping to create a positive impact while adhering to health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts and handle products safely
• Perform mechanical inspections and report issues
• Manage stacking and transport of goods
• Load and unload containers for various uses
• Maintain organized and safe workspaces
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus
• Forklift certification or willingness to learn
• Capacity to lift more than 10 kg frequently
• Strong communication skills for following instructions
