In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor focusing on the inspection and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. A Red Seal Certification or Provincial Millwright Journeyman Certificate is essential for success. Your responsibilities will include repairing equipment while minimizing production losses and collaborating with other trades.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections and recommend necessary repairs
• Adjust and maintain machinery based on production needs
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Perform machining tasks using straightforward tools
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work
Requirements:
• Must hold a Red Seal or equivalent certification
• Heavy industry experience is relevant
• Knowledge of PM and PLCs is a plus
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
• Basic proficiency in computer applications
