About the Role We are seeking a highly driven Senior Associate to join our Investment Banking team located in Calgary, A.B. or Kelowna B.C. This individual will play a key role in executing M&A; transactions, financial analysis, industry research, client presentations, and supporting deal origination initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a quick-paced environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and clients while contributing directly to transaction success and business growth.

Key Responsibilities Transaction Execution

Support and lead key workstreams on M&A;, capital raises,



and strategic advisory mandates

Build and review detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, comparables, accretion/dilution, precedent transactions)

Prepare CIMs, pitch materials, management presentations, and other client deliverables

Coordinate due diligence efforts across internal teams and external advisors

Assist in negotiating terms and transaction structures

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Collaborate with clients to understand strategic objectives and provide advisory support

Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, investors, and internal stakeholders

Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, investors, and partners

Research & Market Intelligence

Conduct in-depth sector research and monitor market trends across target industries

Support thought leadership initiatives and contribute to deal origination insights

Identify potential buyers, investors, or acquisition targets

Team & Project Leadership

Mentor analysts and help oversee deliverable quality

Manage deadlines and ensure the accuracy of client materials

Contribute to improving internal tools, processes, and best practices

Qualifications

3–5+ years’ experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, or corporate finance.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (CFA, CPA, or MBA considered assets)

Strong financial modeling, valuation, and presentation skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities





Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver under tight timelines

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools
