This position is crucial within UBC’s Student Housing and Community Services. You will interact with department staff and contractors, focusing on repairs and minor maintenance tasks that keep our facilities in excellent condition. Your role will encompass troubleshooting a variety of equipment, plumbing repairs, and involvement in team efforts for setup events and cleaning like snow removal.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct repairs on various cleaning and building equipment • Replace lamps in specialized lighting,



including at heights • Perform minor plumbing maintenance and clearance tasks • Help staff during emergencies and clean-up efforts • Maintain detailed records of tasks and repairs
