In this temporary, part-time position, you will report to the Coordinator for Indigenous Student Transition and Engagement. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate connections for Indigenous students and support a variety of events. This role demands effective communication and teamwork to enhance student involvement and cultural expressions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide students in accessing campus support services
• Warmly welcome visitors to the Gathering Place
• Coordinate and promote student-led activities
• Assist with bi-monthly newsletters and social media
• Support the planning of Indigenous community events
Requirements:
• Requirement to be of Indigenous ancestry
• Full time enrollment at KPU in good academic standing
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential
• Familiarity with MS Office applications
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
