Job Summary

Our Edmonton Branch is currently seeking a Journeyman Welder to join our Mechanical Services Team. We’re looking for knowledgeable, experienced, and highly motivated individuals who have great work ethic and enjoy working in a team-focused environment.

Job duties

- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW),



shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, band saws and other metal straightening and bending machines
- Aluminum welding experience is an asset

Qualifications Required

- Must hold a current and valid driver’s license
- Journeyman / Journeyperson certification in the welding trade
- Must be able to work with minimal direction
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours
- Willingness and ability to work in remote locations
