As a Student Tutor, your efforts will directly impact the academic journey of others at KPU. This role invites current students to leverage their subject knowledge while gaining invaluable experience in mentoring. Engagement with students will involve identifying barriers and suggesting innovative learning strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tutor in specific subjects following training completion
• Help students navigate course material and assignments
• Provide detailed feedback to improve academic work
• Identify supports needed for student success
• Promote services offered by the Learning Centre
Requirements:
• Current KPU student with at least a 3.0 GPA
• Completion of a minimum of 24 credits at KPU
• Ability to convey concepts effectively to students
• Friendly and committed to diverse student needs
• Provide references from two KPU faculty members
