Experience One (1) year recent experience as a diagnostic cardiac sonographer preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Complete High School education, Manitoba standards, required. Successful completion of a CMA accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program.



Certification/Licensure/Registration Certified with Sonography Canada as a Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) and/or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Must maintain registry status by obtaining the required Continuing Career development (CPD) credits. Must maintain current BCLS (Level C) in accordance with the applicable policy. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the applicable policy. Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated computer skills is an asset. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral. Apply technical knowledge to interpretation of results, troubleshooting and assessing of methods. Skilled in the use of highly technical cardiovascular ultrasound equipment and probes in order to produce complete anatomic and functional information for the Cardiologist to interpret.
