Role Description: La Pâtisserie is looking for an experienced and reliable Bakery & Pastry Team Member to join our production team for the upcoming busy season. This temporary position will run from October 1 to December 31, with the possibility of extension. The Team Member is a temporary, on-site role based in Kitchener, ON. This seasonal role involves preparing and baking pastries, breads, cookies, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake pastries, breads, and other baked goods following established recipes and standards.

• Scale, mix, shape, bake, decorate, and finish products as required.

• Monitor baking times, temperatures,



and product consistency.

• Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

• Work collaboratively with the production team in a quick-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, or similar food production environment.

• Hands-on baking experience, including measuring, mixing, dough handling, shaping, and baking.

• Familiarity with commercial bakery equipment.

• Strong organization and time-management skills.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift bags, trays, and ingredients as required.

• Reliable, punctual, and available for early mornings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

• Baking or pastry training is an asset.
